Wood is softer than concrete, so we clean it with adjusted pressure and the right tip, working with the grain to avoid furring or gouging the boards. A chemical pre-treatment loosens graying, mildew, and organic growth before the wash, and a post-treatment helps keep growth from coming back quickly. Once the wood is clean and dry, it is ready for stain or sealer if you plan to refinish.

Composite decks

Composite and PVC decking can scratch or mark under too much pressure. We use a lower-pressure cleaning approach that relies on the cleaning solution to lift mildew and dirt out of the textured surface, then rinse it clean.
